Did you know that 98% of child abuse victims know their abusers? … But surprisingly, only 1% of children talk about their trauma simply because most of them feel embarrassed. Victimized children often also develop a lack of self-esteem and require extensive mental health counseling in order to surpass their traumas.
Williamson County Children Advocacy Center is a nonprofit that provides much-needed support and resources to children victims of abuse and trauma. It’s a place where they can be heard and guided on the right path. With the right steps, victims are empowered to overcome their trauma and live a full life. That’s why our agency has decided to raise support for Williamson County Children Advocacy Center.
Their initiative focuses on getting to the core of psychological and mental strain posed on victims as well as investigating, interviewing, and learning about each child’s unique situation to cater to their mental or physical well-being. Williamson County Children Advocacy Center has helped hundreds of children get the support, advocacy, resources, and counseling they need.
