Where Dreams Come Home

In communities across Texas, individuals find it increasingly difficult to provide their families with quality, stable housing. According to the American Housing Survey, 23% of Texans face housing insecurity each year. With the price of homes drastically increasing, individuals in the Lubbock community struggle to keep up, pushing them towards homelessness. Lubbock Habitat for Humanity (Habitat Homes) is an organization that exists to provide quality housing for families with low to moderate-income. Here at the Townsend Agency, we admire Habitat for Humanity’s diligent work for our neighbors and are eager to support its mission to build homes, communities, and hope.

Since opening its doors in 1987, Lubbock Habitat for Humanity has built or repaired over 150 homes, providing shelter for more than 500 families. Habitat Homes provides a lot more than shelter; they provide happiness, peace, and stability. Homeownership gives individuals and families the opportunity for a brighter future.

Lubbock Habitat has done an incredible job at making a lasting impact on the lives of hard-working families, but it can’t be done alone. Your volunteer efforts, contributions of resources, and donations keep Lubbock Habitat for Humanity going! Join us in changing lives for our neighbors in Lubbock, one home at a time. In addition to volunteer opportunities, Lubbock Habitat also hosts several events throughout the year. EXIT Realty, a real estate company, partners with Habitat Homes every year to build and gift a home to a neighbor in need. Our agency is proud to announce our sponsorship over The EXIT Realty of Lubbock Habitat for Humanity Project, where its goal is to raise enough money to cover half the cost of a new home!

We are committed to raising awareness in our community and giving our customers, partners, and anybody else that cares the ability to make an impact themselves. We will donate $10 on your behalf to our current Community Cause campaign for every person you recommend to us.
